Inertization of leachate in the dispersed phase. It is a new leachate inerting technology that reduces operating costs and gives a high quality of the final product.
This technology is based on the combination of two operations. The pulverization of the solid reagent and the atomization of the leachate with an appropriate nozzle for this purpose inside a chamber heated with air or combustion gases. As the contact between the leachate drop and the reagent particles is more intimate, the transport phenomena that take place are favored and with it the development of the stabilization reaction of the final product (inert). In this way is guaranteed high quality of the inert product and lesser consumption of reagent.
