Intensification of chemical processes (ICP) is nowadays commonly mentioned as one of the most promising development paths for the chemical industry and one of the most important progress areas for chemical engineering research. The use of alternative energy forms e.g. plasma, UV, microwave or ultrasound waves is one of the key approaches of ICP. We use these techniques to synthesis of organic compounds, and preparation of polymers and nanomaterials.
