The removable system allows mounting on each profile separately, joining then in continuity with plates at the head of each of the flanges. The use of anti-buckling clamps prevents local buckling of the walls of the profiles, associated with tightening of flanges. Flanges have nerves to reduce stresses. The same flanges are valid for connecting different sized sections of square tube profiles.
Description of the technology
System for removable junction of square tube profiles with continuity. The ends of both profiles are joined by a system of eight flanges with bolts and nuts. The set allows clamping each profile separately, and subsequent continuity of both profiles once put together. Actual section dimensions of both profiles may not be exactly equal. The system also includes a mechanism that prevent local buckling of the tubular profiles walls.
Specifications
The system consists of a total of eight ribbed flanges per joint. Each flange is in contact with the corresponding corner of each square tube profile to be joined. Thus two groups of four flanges are formed. Each of these groups is coupled to the end of each tube, by a set of 12 bolts and nuts. The groups of flanges are joined by head plates with 3 bolts and nuts by side, allowing the connection between the tubes.
