Agrobiotech, bio-fertilizer that increases size of plants and its resistance to fungicidal attacks

Summary of the technology

Agrobiotech offers an environmentally friendly alternative by reducing the amount of
fertilizers needed for each plant while increasing the efficiency of the crops to which it is
applied. This method promotes increased plant diameter and height, as well as the number and size
of fruits while it increases the plant resistance to fungicidal attacks.
Advantages:
Plants showed a 25% greater vegetative growth, increasing their height and/or diameter when fertilization was reduced.
In tomato plants, the number of fruits increased by at least 30%.
In potatoes, the tubers showed an increase proportion of weight yield.
Treated plants were four times more resistant to fungal infection compared to
conventional fungicidal treatment.

Details of the Technology Offer

The objective of Agrobiotech is to reduce the reliance on fertilizers during the cultivation stage, thereby enhancing production efficiency. By doing so, it aims to improve the nutritional conditions of plants and boost their resistance to phytopathogenic fungi. This is achieved through the NUTRIMIX mixture developed by our technology and their later usage.

The novelty of this approach lies in the utilization of a properly combination of bacteria, which fosters a growth-promoting bacterial environment (PGPR). Even in the presence of specific environmental limitations, such as nitrogen deficiency, this approach can be implemented with minimal effort, as it can be remedied within the root tissue.

This approach has been tested in tomato and potato crops under real field conditions, and their results are showed in the figures, with their respective description, attached to the submission form.

Other applications:

There are potential benefits of the application of inocula to plants propagated in vitro without major alterations to the work protocols in vitro.
