Kinevolution® was created by the collaborative efforts of engineers and physiotherapists, our driving force being against loss of autonomy by seniors and to improve experience of physical rehabilitation of disabled people and people with special needs requiring a health care course of action.

We strive to offer the therapist in a single polyvalent and easy-to-use device, a multifunctional package of evaluations and exercises thanks to varied muscle and joint programs of activity (different methods of exercise including isokinetics, analytical and global workout, kinematic chain: opened and 1/2 closed) which can be modified almost infinitely.
Thanks to their multifunctional aspects, the equipment in the Kinevolution® product range thus facilitates, by means of its interchangeable accessories, a workout for the Upper Limbs (from wrist to shoulder girdle), for the Lower Limbs (from the ankle to the pelvic girdle) and the Spine.
Furthermore, each equipment enables a workout in active mode (aided active, active resistance or active against resistance) or passive mode.
Lastly, it makes it possible to separate the work of agonistand of antagonist (muscles) with return to passive initial position (eg concentric/passive or passive eccentric…) or combining agonist and antagonist action in a single exercise (eg concentric/concentric or eccentric/concentric or eccentric/eccentric…).

Use, configuration or programming of the device is facilitated by appropriate and ergonomicinterfaces and included software. The various man-machine interfaces incorporate simple visual displays that are accessible by all users. The mechanical interfaces (handles, etc.) are also designed with ergonomy in mind to facilitate use by the practitioner and the patient, and easy-to-use buttons for adjustments to be performed effortlessly.

The Manual resistance
Recognised since the 1960s, the benefits attributed to the practice of mechanical resistance today have been proven, whether performed in aided active mode in a manner so as to accompany movement or against resistance by exercises of a force against that of the patient.
Yet, quantification of manual resistance can prove difficult due to the subjectivityof the procedure. Manual resistance can only quantify the effort subjectively and some natural human factors such as fatigue can play a part in less than optimum management.
Furthermore, transcription of the force developed, not measured, does not make possible objective follow-up of progress during the sessions.
Lastly, manual resistance can be subject to different variables from one physiotherapist to another. Therefore, it is not the same from one practitioner to another.
Performed over many years, with increasingly longer daily workday, it is the primary case of musculo-skeletal disorders related to the profession of physiotherapists-massage therapists. Occupational disorders result in recurrent medical therapies and increased unpleasantness in daily life, effects that are harmful to health and to the practitioner's morale.

Isokinetics
Today, Kinevolution® makes it possible to perform, in private office practice and with technical installations, a recognised technique whose therapeutic efficacy has been demonstrated (over 3200 publications) but which up until now was reserved for large centres: isokinetics. Kinevolution® now makes it possible for physiotherapists to perform evaluation and rehabilitation sessions with isokinetic exercises for eccentric or concentric workouts in analytical or functionalmovement, with a device which satisfies constraints for use in office practice and in a technical installation, over time, typing of patient practice and cost.
It's the first isocinetic product designed for and adapted to physiotherapy practice in a private office. Therefore, physiotherapists have now the opportunity to publish their clinical studies.
Until now, isokinetic therapy has been reserved for clinics and hospitals.
Biofeedback
Visualising patient's efforts with dynamic exercise
Biofeedback is evidenced in the form of a curve of exertionwhich is displayed in real time according to the progression of movement, allowing to assign a figure and to evidence results. Analysis of curves of movement and measurement of physical dimensions lead to a quantitative approach to movement. The physiotherapist, for example, can in a single analytical movement in isokinetics easily identify the angulation of a lesion or the position of pain.
Providing visual instructions!
The therapist simply chooses the segment or joint that he wishes to work on with the touchscreen and thereby immediately accesses the pre-programmed model exercises with curves of specification for effort, compared to the trajectory of movement. The curve of effort of the exercise chosen will be displayed right on the screen during the exercise.
The screen of the exercise displays in a first phase a curve of the instruction, for which the patient will imitate the form with his own curve, representative in real time of the precise effort that he provides during the movement.
Access to a diagnosis and quantifiable and precise results in real time.
As both a communications tool and objective quantification of results, biofeedback allows the imaging of a workout, of the change in your patients. Thus, you can enable your patient to visualise his difficulties or his improvements tangibly.
Passive Mobilization :
Kinevolution® enables the analytic passive mobilization (also called continuous passive mobilization : CPM) in accordance with all the modes previously realized by the action of a partner or various arthromotors. Located at a specific interline it enables movement on a given plane, around the amplitude of a theoretical axis and can be reproduced by the motor muscles.
Beyond the analytic passive mobilization, Kinévolution enables, on a single piece of equipment, the realization of global mobilization, including all the regional mobility (circumduction) and the specific mobilizations using the abilities of micro mobilities of certain interlines, or else bringing into play 2 or 3 of the 3 degrees of physiological freedom of one or several articulations.
These movements or mobilizations are interesting for the limbs, the trunk and the spine. They respect each patient’s own physiological amplitude of his/her joints, according to a very simple setting to be programmed by the therapist.
Kinevolution® is the first mobilization device to be used distally and not proximally. This means the patient can be positioned in a few seconds, without having to programme all the settings required by arthromotors (length of the segments, angular amplitudes…), which makes it a piece of equipment particularly adapted to the modern constraints of city clinics and to a multi-functional use in technical centers.

The use, configuration or creation of a session are facilitated by appropriate and ergonomic interfaces with the software included.
At all times, a carrousel of rapid access can, by a simple touch on the touch screen, bring you to the window that you wish to see.
