Details of the Innovation Need

We are looking to develop adhesive solutions for our female hygiene pads based on pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA). These adhesive need to ensure a Stay in Place (SIP) & Easy to Remove bonding solution for different panty substrates and usage conditions. We are interested in formulations which can address different needs such as:

  • Strong SIP and Easy to Remove with Panty Fabrics such as Cotton, Nylon and Polyester.
  • Adhesive solutions that do not de-bond when exposed to high humidity conditions.
  • Adhesive solutions that can be applied on polyethylene film and must not cause the film to burn or tear.
  • Adhesive should not chemically degrade over time ensuring stable performance over extended period of time (1 year).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Companies that have a global footprint, with focus in Europe.
  • We are open to work and co-develop solutions.
  • We are open to different adhesive chemistry with a preference for hot-melt adhesives.
  • Adhesives which are safe for use in hygiene pads and free from PFAS.

WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR

  • We are not looking for multi-year research agreements or proving funding for early-stage developments.
  • Restrictions on Freedom to Practice or on IP of the use of adhesives.
