Seeking proposals to advance the knowledge on COVID-19 and on the coronavirus familyThe current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has been declared by WHO as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern according to the International Health Regulation. It is crucial to rapidly gain a better understanding of the newly identified virus, especially in relation to potential clinical and public health measures that can be put to immediate use to improve patients’ health and/or contain the spread of COVID-19. Collaboration of private companies, academia, international organisations, public bodies etc. has the potential to accelerate the development of therapeutics and diagnostics to tackle this current and future outbreaks. The actions resulting from this call will contribute to the pan-European efforts responding to this Public Health Emergency. Proposals submitted under this topic are expected to advance the knowledge specifically on COVID-19 and more widely on the coronavirus family with the aim of contributing to an efficient patient management and/or public health preparedness and response to current and future outbreaks of coronavirus infection.Covid-19 Innovation Challenges by Innoget posted this Technology Call
Seeking proposals to bring stakeholders onto a single platform to offer sponsored resources and incentivise their communities for a better match of skills-based volunteeringCOVID-19 is a pandemic that has just exposed the weakest points in every country, including Singapore. Beyond its immediate impact on health outcomes and, tragically, human lives – the coronavirus outbreak is also very likely to have long-lasting economic and social impacts stemming from the direct and indirect effects of illness. Reduced trade and economic activity have left some of the most vulnerable social groups without jobs, incomes while faced with rising costs of everyday essentials as well as medical supplies. Schools have been shut and services have been suspended. While the first few months have been focused on managing the spread of the disease at the cost of the economy and society – it is now time focus be quickly returned to mitigating negative impacts on the most vulnerable in the short and medium-terms. Without immediate intervention to curb this shock, the social costs of this outbreak would be drastic and irreversible. To support the community in co-creating impactful and lasting solutions in these troubled times, IMDA, The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, Golden Energy and Resources, GlobalSign. In and ABM Media are coming together to bring you the COVID-19 & Beyond – Innovation For Social Good challenge. We hope that this effort sets the pace for social-minded groups to come forward with their innovative ideas to address some of the biggest social challenges and issues of the post-COVID-19 pandemic.Innoget posted this Technology Call
Seeking proposals to disrupt global trade financing via blockchainWe expect this solution to be the first of its kind in the logistics space. Speed to market is greatly reduced while uses enjoy similar low interest rates by banks. We foresee the industry pivoting to this convenient, trustable, and entirely paperless process.Covid-19 Innovation Challenges by Innoget posted this Technology Call

Seeking recognised scientists, research organisations, and suppliers of research tools working in the cannabinoid (and related compounds) global marketOur client has established various product brands serving the consumer lifestyle market and is investigating the development of a range of cannabinoid-based products for use in health and lifestyle applications. With an increasing number of products based on this group of compounds derived from the cannabis (hemp) plant, our client has a particular focus on those targeted for consumers directly (rather than for medicinal applications). Whilst CBD is a well-known cannabinoid, there are a host of additional compounds naturally present in the plant which are thought to contribute to an efficacious final product. Products commonly target different end effects such as pain/inflammation, relaxation, and promote sensory enjoyment, but claims are often based on anecdotal evidence and lacking established scientific knowledge or relevant data sets to support the product’s effective use. Consumers are beginning to question the validity of such product claims, and companies such as our client seek the fundamental science knowledge to support their future product development initiatives and claims. The client is continually seeking to ensure their products are based on established science, and therefore wishes to identify and engage with recognised scientists, research organisations, and suppliers of research tools working in the cannabinoid (and related compounds) global market. The aim is to identify potential partners able to inform and assist in building their fundamental knowledge in this area and provide a network of experts to work with in supporting their ongoing product development activities.INDUSAC posted this Technology Call
