Office for Industry Cooperation. - Urobo BiotechUrobo Biotech is developing enzymatic and microbial processes to convert bioplastic waste into high-value chemicals and/or fuels in existing waste management facilities. This technology allows for the selective breakdown of bioplastics in mixed plastic waste streams without the need for prior sorting. Furthermore, our enzyme innovations can be used to boost renewable energy generation from bioplastic waste entering organic waste treatment facilities. This not only solves the problem caused by the influx of bioplastics in existing waste management facilities but also generates extra value and revenue for these facilities in the form of renewable energy and/or fine chemicals.
