The Research Park of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (PRUAB) facilitates and promotes the transfer of knowledge generated by the research groups of the UAB sphere, as well as their R&D capabilities to help the innovation needs of the economic and social environment. PRUAB provides services to UAB’s research departments, as well as centres and institutes located on the Bellaterra campus. All of them carry out their activities around six core themes: Biotechnology and Biomedicine; Food Technology and Animal Health; Materials Science and Energy (nanotechnology and microelectronics), Information Technology and Communications; Social Sciences and Humanities; and Environment and Climate Change.
