I am Director (Customers) at New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, leading our people to help NZ businesses grow in international markets. I have led global teams in finance, sales/mktg, operatons, change mgmt and business development roles - including with Lion Nathan, Cadbury Schweppes, Hunterskil Howard, CPLG, National Foods and HJ Heinz. I've started businesses from scratch, I'm a business investor and I'm on the Industry Advisory Panel of the NZ Government High Value Nutrition National Science Challenge where research is being used to develop scientifically-proven foods for health; and on the Board of the NZ Product Accelerator, where businesses are being assisted to commercialise new design concepts, manufacturing methods and material interfaces across key NZ industry sectors. I'm a graduate of Massey University (NZ); and of a (US) Thunderbird School of Global Management/University of Auckland Business School executive leadership programme.
