| Summary: By order issued by the Director General of Instituto de Telecomunicações on March 3, 2022, it was approved to open an international call to select one science and technology manager, with a bachelor or master degree in the scope of the INTERFACE and UIDB/50008/2020 projects, in a context of a temporary term working contract. |

| Admission Requirements: Bachelor or master Master degree; Proven experience in administrative and financial management of scientific research projects, and interest in National and European research funding programmes; Very good command in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); Very good knowledge of the new technologies; Very good organization capabilities; Problem solver oriented; Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy; Multi-tasking and multi-skilling oriented; Ability for teamwork; Ability to coordinate IT responses to R&D funding programs. | Work Objectives: Administrative/logistic work related to the management of the Scientific R&D Projects, based on institutional procedures of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), as well as European guidelines. Organization of the expenses and reimbursement processes, organization of documents and information in the scope of grant research contracts, events organization and related teamwork. Request orders to suppliers (scientific books, equipment, travels,...). Support of the daily IT Porto office activities. Other coordination support to researchers from IT Porto. Analysis and diffusion of the relevant calls for proposals from FCT and EU. Support the IT researcher in the proposals preparation. Work with IT researchers to improve EU project indicators. |

| Place of work: The workplace shall be at Instituto de Telecomunicações (Delegação do Porto, Universidade do Porto - Faculdade de Engenharia, Departamento de Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores, Rua Dr. Roberto Frias, s/n, 4200-465 Porto), or at any other facilities of Instituto de Telecomunicações namely in Aveiro, Coimbra, Lisboa, Covilhã, Leiria, in accordance with the requirements and needs of research projects. |
| Duration: A temporary term working contract under the scope of the UIDB/50008/2020 and INTERFACE projects. |
| Monthly salary: Monthly remuneration corresponding to level 2 or 3 of the "técnico superior" career, according with the profile and experience of the candidate. |
Selection criteria:
Candidates may be interviewed for clarification of any aspect related to the above criteria Each criteria, and the final classification F will be evaluated in a scale (0-20). The candidates will be ordered according to: F = C1 x 50% + C2 x 50% In case of a tie, the tied candidates will be ordered according to C1, then C2... The Jury has the right to not admit any of the candidates that applied for this position whenever they consider that no candidate meets the minimum requirements for the position. |
