Event description
The VentureWell OPEN conference gathers together representatives from across the innovation and entrepreneurship spectrum to share stories, start new collaborations, and learn emerging best practices in the rapidly evolving field of technology entrepreneurship education. OPEN 2020 attendees represent all disciplines including engineering, science, arts, and business. They represent a diverse cross-section of players in the I&E education community—faculty, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, administrators, and more. Highly interactive tracks and session formats, along with mini-networking sessions in the breaks, our conference kickoff and meals, all encourage attendees to cross-pollinate ideas and deepen their knowledge. Our session formats are designed to be highly engaging and interactive (say goodbye to long, dreary presentations). At the end of the sessions you’ll leave with new tools, content, and approaches that you can apply to your own teaching, work, and research right away, be they strategies for integrating ethics into your entrepreneurship class or instruments you can use to research program outcomes. Our presenters and attendees will share trends and new strategies that you can integrate into your practice and curriculum directly. View this year's topical tracks and start planning your trip to Salt Lake City now! Register by January 10 to save 15% off of the full cost of your conference ticket. ** Poster Session—Submit your proposal by December 20! ** Our poster session and reception will be a unique opportunity for poster presenters to have thoughtful, in-depth conversations with dozens of fellow OPEN attendees about their projects. Selected poster presenters will receive a registration fee discount! We hope to see you at OPEN 2020 in Salt Lake City!
