Open Innovation Kongress 2018

**Mine.Your.Our success in innovation** Open Innovation is one of the major trends in the innovation sector. The openness of companies for knowledge and creativity from outside of the company – from customers, partners, scientists, the staff or even the “crowd” – is one of the main factors of successful and effective innovation in the 21st century. A lot of global players integrated Open Innovation in their innovation process already. Especially for the medium-sized enterprises there is a huge necessity to gain more knowledge on how to integrate Open Innovation in their structures.

The main focus of the “Open Innovation Congress Baden-Württemberg 2018 - Mine.Your. Our Success In Innovation”, will be on political strategies to support Open Innovation, best practices, the role of new tools like makerspaces or pop-up laboratories and new chances by technical development. A field of tension between trust and intellectual property will play a substantial role in the Open Innovation processes. Economic minister Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL will give the opening speech, followed by Robert-Jan Smits, the director-general the EU-Commission. Look forward to experience reports by the region Noord-Braband, who has a strong connection to Baden-Württemberg via the Vanguard Initiative. Dr. Ingmar Hoerr, CEO of the CureVac AG, will take a closer look at open innovation from a Unicorn’s point of view.
