28th June, 2012. “Funds and Fundability” is the first in a series of one-day workshops run by Networked Pharma, the Initiative bringing together all major stakeholders involved in building the new, highly networked model for drug discovery and development. The workshop takes place in Central London on Thursday 28th June and aims to benchmark and map the emerging landscape for the sourcing and funding of innovation in drug discovery.
The workshop is open to all stakeholders interested in Pharma and Biotech innovation and its funding.
Industry figures speaking at the event include: Andy Richards (serial bio-entrepreneur), Nigel Pitchford (Imperial Innovations investments), David Phillips (SR One), Christopher Beadle (Lilly, Open innovation Portal) and Zahid Latif (TSB, Biomedical Catalyst)
Each session will consist of a series of short presentations, followed by round-table and panel discussions. An expert facilitator using proven techniques will bring together all the discussion strands, develop a detailed analysis and prepare a road map for future action that will be available to all participants after the workshop. It will also be possible to present or browse “Poster Pitches” for project opportunities seeking funding, visit the trade stands and Network across the sector.
