Pharmaceutical Reference Standards - EU edition MasterClass

Reference standards are an essential tool in the quality control of APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients), excipients and medicinal products. They may be obtained from official sources or may, under certain circumstances, be developed and maintained in-house. In this training course you will learn about the correct use of official (pharmacopoeial) standards and regulatory requirements but also about the possiblity to establish in-house standards and how to maintain an in-house system. The way(s) of establishment and content assignment will be part of this course as well as the different types of standards, such as chemically defined standards, impurities, herbals and other types.
