DetectaCyn is a biotechnology startup founded by a biologist scientist and a chemical engineer with the mission of producing kits and tools for environmental analysis. Our purpose is to disseminate consolidated technologies at an affordable cost, thus allowing the monitoring of ecosystems in underdeveloped regions.
Our current focus is to produce kits for the detection and quantification of cyanotoxins in water, using both more established technologies (enzyme immunoassay) and innovative technologies (use of biosensors for in situ analysis).
